Messenger Cleaner – Delete All Facebook Messages is a browser extension developed by Vladyslav Verbytskyi, an individual software developeras part of CleanMySocial. CleanMySocial is a product name, not a separate company or legal entity. It works on Facebook Messenger. This notice explains exactly what the extension accesses and where that data goes.

Data the extension accesses

The visible Messenger conversation list, conversation links, menus, and confirmation dialogs required to perform the action you request. This information is processed temporarily in the supported tab.

Settings, temporary operation progress, review preferences, and the local count of successful deletes and archives for the current calendar day.

A randomly generated license identifier used to buy or validate unlimited access. It contains no Facebook account information.

The extension does not collect or transmit message contents, passwords, cookies, conversation lists, or Facebook account credentials.

Permissions & why they are needed

storage

Stores settings, temporary progress, the local daily delete/archive count, review preferences, and license status. The anonymous license key may be stored in Chrome sync.

tabs

Identifies the active Messenger tab, communicates with the cleanup script, and keeps the panel synchronized when you switch tabs.

sidePanel

Displays the delete, archive, restore, progress, and license controls beside Messenger.

webNavigation

Detects Messenger navigation, including in-page navigation, so the side panel stays connected to the correct page.

Network access

Lets the extension perform the cleanup actions you request in your own signed-in Messenger tab. Conversation data remains in that tab and is not sent to the developer.

Opens checkout and checks a randomly generated license identifier. No Facebook or Instagram content is sent to the CleanMySocial service.

Good to know

The free plan includes 10 successful deletes or archives per local calendar day. Restore actions are not metered.
Operations pause while the Messenger tab is hidden and resume when it becomes visible.
Permanent deletion requires explicit confirmation and cannot be undone through the extension.
The extension contains no advertising, behavioral analytics, or third-party tracking.

Payments

Paid plans are processed by Creem, our Merchant of Record. Creem collects and handles your payment and billing details; we receive only a transaction record and a license identifier and never see your full card details.

Sharing, storage & deletion

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share the content you access through the extension with anyone. Purchase data is shared with Creem solely to process payments.

Operational settings and progress described above are kept in Chrome extension storage on your device. Uninstalling the extension removes its local storage; Chrome may retain values stored in sync according to your Chrome sync settings. We retain purchase and license records only as long as needed to provide access, handle refunds or disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal or accounting requirements.

Security, children & changes

We use reasonable safeguards for the limited license and purchase data we process. The extension is not directed to children under 13. If this policy changes, the revised text and date will be published on this page.
