About this notice

Mass Friends Remover for Facebook — Bulk Unfriender is a browser extension developed by Vladyslav Verbytskyi, an individual software developeras part of CleanMySocial. CleanMySocial is a product name, not a separate company or legal entity. It works on Facebook. This notice explains exactly what the extension accesses and where that data goes.

Data the extension accesses

  • 01

    Your visible Facebook friends list, processed locally so you can select whom to remove. The list and the names of removed friends are not collected, stored, or sent to the developer.

  • 02

    A purchased license key only when you paste it for validation. The extension never generates a licensing identity and makes no license request when the key slot is empty.

  • 03

    Daily and lifetime successful-removal totals, selected speed, cached entitlement state, and whether you clicked the Chrome Web Store review button.

  • 04

    A crash-only random installation ID used solely to deduplicate privacy-filtered technical crash reports. It is never used for licensing or attached to friend data.

Permissions & why they are needed

tabs

Finds or opens a Facebook tab when you invoke the extension, focuses that tab, and opens checkout or the Chrome Web Store review page only when you choose those actions.

storage

Stores the locally cached friends list, selected speed, daily successful-removal count, review preference, and entitlement cache. Chrome sync contains a purchased license key only after the customer pastes it and the server validates it.

sidePanel

Displays friend selection, confirmation, progress, speed, license, and recovery controls beside Facebook.

cookies

Checks the existing Facebook sign-in session. Cookies are not modified or sent to CleanMySocial.

scripting

Reads a Facebook session token from an already-open Facebook tab when needed. The token stays inside the extension workflow.

declarativeNetRequest

Sets Facebook Origin and Referer headers only on the extension's own Facebook GraphQL requests so Facebook accepts them; it does not alter the user's tab traffic.

Reads your visible friends list and sends only the unfriend requests you confirm directly to Facebook through your existing signed-in session. Facebook data is not sent to the developer.

Opens the product and lifecycle pages, validates a purchased license key that the customer chooses to paste, and sends privacy-filtered breakage or crash reports. Facebook content is never sent.

Good to know

  • The extension runs only when you open it on your Facebook friends-list page and initiate the removal workflow.
  • Free cleanup begins at Fast Speed, continues at Standard Speed, and stops after the documented daily allowance. Pro unlocks unlimited removals and Super Speed.
  • Known Facebook breakage reports contain only the extension slug, closed failure code, version, and locale. Crash reports exclude friend data, Facebook identifiers, cookies, tokens, and license keys.
  • Unfriending changes your Facebook account and may not be reversible without sending a new friend request.
  • The extension contains no advertising, behavioral analytics, or third-party tracking.

Payments

Paid plans are processed by Creem, our Merchant of Record. Creem collects and handles your payment and billing details; we receive only a transaction record and a license identifier and never see your full card details.

Sharing, storage & deletion

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share the content you access through the extension with anyone. Purchase data is shared with Creem solely to process payments.

Operational settings and progress described above are kept in Chrome extension storage on your device. Uninstalling the extension removes its local storage; Chrome may retain values stored in sync according to your Chrome sync settings. We retain purchase and license records only as long as needed to provide access, handle refunds or disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal or accounting requirements.

Security, children & changes

We use reasonable safeguards for the limited license and purchase data we process. The extension is not directed to children under 13. If this policy changes, the revised text and date will be published on this page.
